Motlakase Powers Past TAFIC

A seventh minute goal by striker Evans Mwanza gave Motlakase the scalp of a second Francistown side this season. A few weeks ago, the Palapye side came calling and gave ECCO City Greens a 2-1 thrashing. On Saturday, Oris Radipotsane's Motlakase pounced after Mwanza got hold of a deflected ball from the TAFIC defence.
Apart from the goal there was nothing much to write home about in the first stanza of the match. However, the second half belonged to TAFIC who missed numerous chances as Motlakase defended in numbers. Efforts by TAFIC coach, Darlington Dodo, who tried to guide his troops from the terraces as he has not signed a contract with the club after leaving Township Rollers proved futile. He struggled to contain his emotions as the TAFIC lads continued to miss easy chances. He walked away in frustration before the final whistle.
