Motlakase longs to play at home

PALAPYE: Debutants Motlakase Power Dynamos have blamed their slow start in the be MOBILE Premier League to the fact that they play their home matches 'away' in Francistown.

Motlakase technical manager Dimpho Terena said they are eagerly waiting for the completion of their stadium in Palapye so that they can enjoy homeground advantage. He stated that the players miss the motivation of the home supporters.

"I am not trying to make excuses but we are always playing away from home. Francistown is far from here (Palapye) so a lot of our fans cannot afford to travel to cheer us. Playing in front of home supporters can have a positive impact on the performance of the team. Players are spurred to good performances when they know they have support," Terena told Mmegi Sport.
