Motiki eager to play again after accident

FRANCISTOWN: Sua Flamingoes marksman, Alfred Motiki has expressed hope that he could soon return to action, a few months after he was involved in a serious road accident that resulted in one teammate losing his life.

The road mishap, which happened last October just before Sowa, claimed the life of Lovemore Murirwa and left two other colleagues injured.

Murirwa was behind the wheel at the time of the accident when his car, a Toyota Alteza, veered off the road and hit a tree. Motiki sustained serious injuries to his head and chest.
