Extension Gunners' woes continue with players threatening to oust the current management if their outstanding salaries from August and September, are not paid after the Gaborone United (GU) game next weekend.

Gunners' players were paid half salaries for the months of August and September salaries. The players expect to receive the balance after the GU game, which might pull a large crowd."We did not received our full salaries for August and September. We were given half, so we expect them to pay the outstanding balances after the GU game. If they fail then we will have to find a way to get rid of them with the help of the supporters," said a senior player.

Gunners' chairman, William Maboane, admitted that they had not paid players' salaries in full, but said he was unaware of the players' plans to oust his committee."I'm not aware of that, but I don't agree that salaries have not been paid since August. Something was paid to them in the months of August and September. We took over in July; we paid full salaries in July and then half salaries in August and September. In essence, we owe them one months' salary because we gave them half for two months and the remainder will soon be cleared off. They understand that we hit the ground running and a lot of things were not in place. We spoke to them and reached an agreement to start paying them normally in November," he told Mmegi Sport.
