Morapedi takes charge of Under-20 national team

Newly appointed national Under-20 coach, Innocent Morapedi is expected to have his first training session with the team next weekend.

The team is expected to hold its first weekend camp on November 2 ahead of the COSAFA Under-20 Youth Championships. Botswana plays Zimbabwe and Swaziland in the group stages of tournament scheduled for December 3-14 in Lesotho.

Morapedi has been put in charge of the Under-20 national team with ECCO City Greens' Atshele Molapi as his assistant. The Mochudi Centre Chiefs' assistant coach replaces the under-fire Extension Gunners tactician, China Matlhaku, who is not available because his club has reportedly refused to release him.
