Commonwealth 400m champion, Amantle Montsho, is tipped to steal the limelight when the Botswana National Sports Council holds its awards tomorrow night.

The track queen is favoured to walk away with the Sportsperson of the Year award for the third time in a row after she became the first Motswana to win a Commonwealth Games gold medal last October.

She is expected to easily win the Sportswoman of the Year award ahead of netball's Portia Rasekhumba and Thato Malunga of karate. In the last two editions, she has broken male dominance in the Sportsperson of the Year award. In the coaching category, Zebras' tactician Stan Tshosane is likely to emerge tops ahead of Isaac Samuel of Kutlwano volleyball club, boxing's Johannes Dithabang and Mpho Bakwadi of karate.  The race for Administrator of the Year pits Botswana Netball Association president, Tebogo Lebotse, Gift Nkwe of karate, Tshepo Sitale of Botswana Chess Federation, Moses Bantsi of athletics and Steve Botlhasitse of Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA).
