Montsho competes in a rare 300M against, among others, Semenya

Amantle Montsho, fresh from securing a berth at this year’s World Athletics Championships, will test her strength against her South African friend and counterpart, Caster Semenya in a rare 300m race. The two meet for the showdown today at the Sasolburg.

Montsho proved her worth after she secured qualification to the London World Championships in August with a 52.01 run in Francistown nearly a fortnight ago.

The former 400m world champion has been out for two years, serving suspension for a banned substance.
