Montsho, Oteng stars of the night

Decorated track queen, Amantle Montsho's star continued to shine as she was crowned Sportsperson of the year for the fourth successive season at the 32nd Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) awards on Saturday night.

The world 400m women champion deservedly received the lucrative award after a breathtaking performance last year winning gold at the world championships, All-Africa Games and winning the IAAF Samsung Golden League.

Montsho was a double winner on the night after earlier being crowned Sportswoman of the year. Meanwhile, rising boxing youngster, Oteng Oteng also gained his respect among the country's best sporting talents, as he was crowned sportsman of the year.
