Montsho makes history in Berlin

African champion Amantle Montsho will make history today when she becomes the first Motswana woman to appear in the World Athletics Championships final.

The Botswana track star will pit her strength against the world's best in the 400m final scheduled for tonight at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany

The Senegal-based Montsho was impressive on Sunday when she recorded her personal best time of 49.89 seconds in the semis.  The final will be shown live on Supersport 5 at 8.45pm.
