For ages, the proverbial monkey has clung on Fani, and the BFA's back, but on a spring like Wednesday morning, the under fire president made strides towards restoring his battered image. Fani waited for the perfect opportunity to emerge from his cocoon in what could be the last but definitive media conference before the polls, which pit him against Sebego on July 28. Sebego has seemingly been in with a strong chance after what were perceived to be Fani and BFA blunders, led to fury from football fans. But Fani, like a wily old fox, has made calculated chess-like moves to storm back into contention, particularly after Wednesday's press briefing.
