As the year comes to an end, Sports has dished up the usual excitement, the best, the worst and sometimes the weird. Mmegi Sport reporters, look back, in no particular order, at what has been a rather unspectacular 2019.

1. Zebras coach appointed

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) moved to appoint a substantive coach for the national team, with the Belgian, Adel Amrouche getting the nod.

BDP primaries leave a lot to be desired

The BDP as a party known to have ample resources has always held its primaries well in time, but this time around that was not the case. The first leg of the primaries was held last weekend, with the final leg being billed for the coming weekend. This time around, the BDP failed to shine in its primary elections.
