Moloi might miss AFCON finals

The Zebras are likely to miss talented midfielder Dirang Moloi for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) next January following revelations that the star is unlikely to kick a ball in a competitive match before December.

Moloi might also miss out on the Finland deal.The former Mochudi Centre Chiefs' midfielder, returned to his boyhood club Notwane after a season-long stint with demoted South African outfit ,Vasco Da Gama, but is yet to kick a ball eight games into the season.At the start of the season, Notwane said the star was struggling with a groin injury.

However, it turns out the gifted linkman is yet to train with the Premier League side.In fact, the Botswana Premier League (BPL) has confirmed that, up to now Moloi has not been cleared from South Africa. Notwane have not yet sought international clearance for the player.BPL general manager, Setete Phutego, confirmed the developments."The last club Dirang played for is South Africa's Vasco Da Gama and no one has sought his reverse clearance to register him locally although we are told Notwane signed him," Phutego said.
