Former Extension Gunners midfielder, Lesego Molemogi has said the injustices suffered by football players in the country should now come out in the public.

Molemogi, who is also the vice president of the Footballers Union of Botswana (FUB), feels the players have suffered enough for years.

He said there is a culture in Botswana where players are deemed to serve the administrators and cannot speak out when their rights are being violated. “When I say rights, I mean their welfare. It is of paramount importance that the welfare of players is treated as a high priority, but that has not been the case. In a nutshell, players serve the officials but it should be the other way round,” Molemogi told Mmegi Sport.
