Molefe quits football office

Selebi-Phikwe Regional Football Association (SRFA) president, Mike Molefe has resigned, bringing to an end a tumultuous reign.

Molefe's one-year reign has been characterised by internal bickering largely attributed to power struggles. He said he quit due to pressing business commitments. He denied that he was pushed. Molefe tendered his resignation letter on 12 June.

 "As my fellow committee members, I have highlighted to you before that due to business commitments elsewhere, I might be forced to relocate to another place," he said.
