Molaodi keen to seek re-election

Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) president, Daniel Molaodi, is keen to seek another term when the federation holds its annual general meeting (AGM) in Gaborone next weekend.

Molaodi said he saw no reason why he should not seek a fresh mandate although the final decision lies with the affiliates.Molaodi became BVF president in 2009 and his two-year term has expired this year. He said during their tenure his committee faced challenges although they are proud that they reached some of their targets. "Being given qualified financial statements does not necessarily mean you are doing well. 

So even in cases where our statements were perfect, we wanted auditors to explain what that exactly meant to us," he said. He said they have been able to achieve part of that and that the only problem is that auditing takes a long time.
