Mogopodi picks up the pieces at Santos

The winds of change swept across at Uniao Flamengo Santos last year as the Gabane side lost a number of key players among them Thato Bolweleng, Bakang Moeng, Boitshoko Zikhale and the Ngele brothers Godfrey and Mogakolodi.

Following the exodus, the prophets of doom predicted the team's demise, but coach, George Mogopodi refused to give up despite having a young squad at his disposal.

Against the odds he insisted that the team would recover well enough to become competitive in a few months.
