Moatlhaping signs for Platinum Stars

Reigning be MOBILE Premier League Green Boot Award winner Moemedi 'Jomo' Moatlhaping has completed his move to South African Absa Premiership side Platinum Stars after a lengthy trial spell.

The national team forward played his last game for Mochudi Centre Chiefs on Saturday, bagging a brace in the 5-2 demolition of defending champions Township Rollers.  Chiefs' communications manager Clifford Mogomotsi confirmed that the deal was all sealed, but would not be drawn into disclosing details of the agreement.

"Yes it's a done deal, Jomo is now a Platinum Stars player.  He left on Sunday to join them," Mogomotsi told Mmegi Sport.  Moatlhaping had been scheduled to join his new team mates after the Zebras game against Kenya on Wednesday but Chiefs requested to field him in the season opener against Rollers.  Moatlhaping said he was excited about the deal on Saturday shortly before his farewell party hosted by the Kgatleng giants after triumphing over arch-rivals Rollers.
