Mmadinare to host Eastern horse race

Race organiser Lekang Selawe told Mmegi Sport yesterday that Botswana Tourism (BT) has sponsored the race for P70, 000. The race will start in the morning and end in the late afternoon.

He said the race is aimed at promoting horse racing (equestrian) and identifying talent amongst the youth who can become professional jockeys. He added that through the initiative, horse racing could be professionalised in the in the Eastern region and elsewhere in the country.
