Mix-up blamed for Koko's exclusion

Township Rollers' blazing winger Sekhana Koko has blamed his exclusion from the Zebras' squad that left for Chad yesterday morning on a breakdown in communication.

Despite consistent scintillating displays for the defending league champions, national team coaches have overlooked Koko though he appears ideal cover for Phenyo Mongala who has seen little action at South African giants, Orlando Pirates.

With Pontsho Moloi injured, coach Stanley Tshosane has given BDF XI youngster, Lemponye Tshireletsho the nod ahead of Koko.Zebras' assistant coach Ken Mogae revealed that the in-form Rollers winger's omission is because he asked to be excused early this year. However, the speed merchant said he is available for selection.
