Ministry concerned about Zebras� allowances

Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture, Kago Ramokate has said that his ministry is equally worried about the perennial issue relating to the Zebras players’ allowances.

This follows the recent boycott of training sessions by the players ahead and after the friendly match against Lesotho last week.

The players demanded payment for their appearance and reached a stalemate with the Botswana Football Association (BFA) before the government through the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) intervened.
