The Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Gladys Kokorwe has expressed concern at the unprofessional manner in which the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) and the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) have been handling their differences.

This is not where our solution to the problem is," Kokorwe said. She encouraged the two bodies to be open to dialogue to find a long lasting solution to the impasse. BNSC

On Thursday, Kokorwe said she is aware of the strained relationship between BNOC and BNSC and her ministry has taken urgent steps to address the problem. Speaking at the BNOC special general meeting, the minister said that the issue can be resolved through constructive dialogue.
