Merafhe appeals for Botswana Games sponsorship

Merafhe became the first patron of the games this year. He appealed to the business community to help sponsor the games as Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) cannot finance them alone.

Expenditure projections for the games is P6.2 million while the BNSC has only committed P3.5 million. Merafhe said he understood the economic hardships that companies find themselves in but appealed to them to sponsor the games in other ways besides financial.
