Botswana’s first cricket export to England, Thatayaone Tshose is flourishing for his new club, Kelvedon and Feering after joining up with his teammates a fortnight ago. His coach, Martin Griffiths is impressed with what he has seen from the 20-year-old in the two matches he had featured in thus far.

“He is a lovely lad. He played his first games last weekend and was a real asset to the side.  His fielding impressed and he bowled with some real pace and menace,” Griffiths told Mmegi Sport.

He said they are working on adjusting Tshose’s game to English conditions “where the ball must be pitched up further”. “We are also working with him with his bowling variations and he is picking things up really quickly,” Griffiths said.
