Mega Com proves their mettle

FRANCISTOWN: Third Division side, Mega Com defied odds when they stormed into the final of the World Group of Companies Independence Cup.

Though the side formed only two seasons back fell 4-0 to Premier League title contenders ECCO City Greens in the final, they impressed after a gallant fight. The young side lost but showed that it had come a long way with coach Blessing Moyo proving his tactical mettle in the tournament.

Mega Com were ruthless in the run-up to the final, defeating Red Bulls 3-0 before handing Tonota FC a 4-1 drubbing in the second match.
