Matebele target Mapalastina

BDF XI hope to give their supporters an early Christmas present when they take on Township Rollers in a Mascom Premier League game at the SSKB Stadium in Mogoditshane tomorrow. Things have not gone well at Rollers in recent times both on and off the field.

This week, the management shocked many people when they dumped assistant coach Daniel 'Chicco' Nare despite the fact that head coach David Bright is on the brink of joining South African Premier League side, Capetown Santos.

Rollers have been disappointing of late and their 3-2 defeat to TAFIC broke the hearts of their supporters last weekend at UB Stadium. Ahead of their date with the army side, soccer pundits have warned that heads are likely to roll if Mapalastina fail to beat BDF XI. Rollers are languishing on the 11th position with 12 points beating BDF XI, who are on the 13th spot on goal difference.
