The AT&T Monnakgotla women football league match between UB Kicks and Lulu football team was called off yesterday after referees felt that the field was unplayable.

Although they respected the referee's decision the coaches of the two teams expressed disappointment with it.UB Kicks coach Dikoloti Moses said initially the game was scheduled for UB Stadium and that there were only told just few minutes before the game that it has been moved. The game was moved to UB Hawks' ground because the UB Stadium was being treated. Moses said there was nothing much that they could do to get the pitch ready because they did not even have tools.
