Exciting midfield-cum striker, Lemogang Maswena has reportedly returned to Notwane following a botched transfer to city rivals, Township Rollers once again.

Maswena has been on Rollers' radar for sometime now and looked set to join them this around. However, reports are that nothing came out of the talks between the two clubs and the player has since been forced to return to Notwane. The reports were confirmed by Notwane spokesperson, Boipelo Seleke who pointed out that Maswena had also indicated that he wanted to join Rollers. It was the second time the player had shown interest in moving to Rollers. At the start of the season, Rollers showed interest in the player but he returned to Notwane since the Players' Status Committee (PSC) took long to settle the issue the development fee. The matter was then referred to the PSC.

According to Seleke, Rollers renewed their interest once again during the January transfer window and Notwane once more raised the issue of development fee. "Following the show of interest from Township Rollers to take the player on board, Maswena then, as is procedure, wrote a letter to the office of the Botswana Premier League, also showing his mutual interest to join the above mentioned team. However, as it often happens with Rollers and Maswena, no fruit came of the discussions leaving Maswena within Notwane," she said.
