SELEBI-PHIKWE: Zimbabwean coach Luke Masomere has said that he feels sorry for compatriot, Paul Gundani, the man who has succeeded him as Nico United tactician. "I feel sorry for the new coach who will work under the current Nico management.

The club had problems paying my salary," he said before he left. Masomere's contract was expected to end in March 2011 but was cut short after reported disagreements with Nico officials.  That has not prevented the Selebi-Phikwe side from continuing with its flirtation with Zimbabwean coaches by roping in Gundani to replace Masomere.

Nico chairperson Kitso Jomo Nkoborwane told Mmegi Sport that Gundani has a good track record as a player with the likes of Madinda Ndlovu in the Zimbabwe national team.
