Masitaoka frustrate Killer Giants

Mascom Premier League promotion favourites Killer Giants were left frustrated after a 1-1 draw against visiting Masitaoka in a First Division South game at Siga Grounds on Sunday. The Ramotswa side hoped to win the game and ease pressure ahead of their crucial visit to promotion rivals Naughty Boys in Tlokweng on Saturday.

After the weekend results, Killer Giants are only ahead of Naughty Boys on goal difference at the top of the log. Both sides have 39 points and will be meeting in the last game to decide who gets automatic promotion to the Premier League.

The winner will qualify for the Premier League while the runners-up go to the promotional play-offs.On Sunday, the Killer Giants and Masitaoka match was characterised by poor play because of the windy conditions. By halftime the score was 0-0.
Masitaoka had advantage in the first half because the wind was behind them but they wasted the chances they got.
