Maposa opts for Bay United

Mochudi Centre Chiefs' goalkeeper, Noah Maposa has settled for a one-year loan spell at South African National First Division side, Bay United. The deal dashes Bloemfontein Celtic's hopes of luring the Botswana international.

Maposa, together with Chiefs' team-mate Pontsho Moloi put pen to paper on Monday afternoon after impressing in a number of pre-season matches for Bay United in Pretoria.

Last week, Soccer Laduma reported that the Zebras' second choice goalkeeper was likely to dump Bay United after Celtic expressed interest in him. However, the 24-year-old shot-stopper finally settled for Bay United coached by compatriot David Bright.
