Maposa For Celtic

Botswana international goalkeeper, Noah Maposa who recently left Mochudi Centre Chiefs to join Bay United in South Africa might be on the move again, an online publication reported yesterday.

Soccer Laduma reported that the Zebras' second choice goalkeeper might leave Bay United to ABSA Premiership side, Bloemfontein Celtic. It is said the Free State club has shown interest in Maposa's services. The goalkeeper is currently training with Bay United.

He played in Umlilo's pre-season friendly games against SuperSport United, Wits and AmaTuks in Pretoria at the weekend.   Maposa's business manager, Abbie Rasimphi of June Sixteen confirmed Celtic's interest but said he will only join them if they want to sign him, not to go for a trial. "Look, the player has been training with Bay United for the past three weeks and has now impressed them.  We won't just release him for a trial at Celtic, what if they don't sign him? If they want him, they must just sign him, not to have trials, they know what he is capable of."
