Maposa has signed a two-year deal and was on the bench when Nico hosted Mogoditshane Fighters on Saturday. He is expected to give first choice goalkeeper, Murambiwa Ndlovu tough competition. Majombolo moved quickly to sign an experienced custodian following the untimely death of their Zimbabwean goalkeeper, Chrispen Nyamutambo in a car accident on New Year's Eve.
Nico spokesman, Matlhale Malepa said the signing of Maposa is a great boost to the team. "We signed him on Friday and he will start training this week (from today). Ndlovu is a good keeper but we wanted cover," Malepa said. Maposa will find it difficult to break into the first team as Ndlovu, despite a porous defence has done well so far.
