Mabrano confident of promotion

First Division North side, Stone Breakers believe they still have a chance to make it to the Premier League come the end of the season.

The Letlhakane-based side currently lies fifth on the standings ahead of FC Palapye with 18 points. They are five points behind leaders Great North Tigers (GNT), who are trailed by Motlakase with 22 points and Satmos with 20 points. Stone Breakers spokesperson Elijah Motsamai says the league still has a long way to go and they cannot be ruled out. He says they have rectified their mistakes and they are ready to cause havoc in the second round scheduled to start on February 16.

So far the team has lost only one player to cross-town rivals Boteti Young Fighters. Motsamai says they intend to sign at least three players. "We need a striker, defender and a midfielder." 'Mabrano' have a good record in the First Division and two years ago, they reached the promotional play-offs. Motsamai appeals to fans to always stand by the team as the players can only make it through their support. He says that they started the league on a low note because they had lost some of their players.
