Love is in the air for Rollers, Fighters

With Valetine's Day billed for tomorrow, Township Rollers and Mogoditshane Fighters have an early date when they meet in the Mascom Premier League game at the National Stadium tonight.

The last time the two teams met was before the Christmas break and Rollers overcame Fighters 1-0, courtesy of Moemedi Moatlhaping's penalty after Sekhana Koko had been fouled in the box.

However, a lot has changed since then and expectations are that there will be a huge difference to what the supporters witnessed in the first round match. Two influential Fighters' players, Amos 'Shoes' Godirwang and Monageng 'Mnike' Thaele joined Rollers during the transfer window that has just closed and might face their old club tonight. Rollers on the other hand have since acquired the services of a Zambian coach, Dickson Ngwenya. Moreover, one of their best players this season, Koko has since resigned to join rivals Mochudi Centre Chiefs but they have also welcomed their speedy winger, Joel '16' Mogorosi back from Cyprus. Speaking to Mmegi Sport yesterday, Ngwenya said that they are ready for tonight's encounter against Fighters. He said that they are expecting a good and exciting game. He, however, admitted that he has not watched Fighters play but stressed that they should start winning games as soon as now.
