Players plying their trade in the domestic league will get the opportunity to impress when the Zebras take on Iran in an international friendly match at the University of Botswana (UB) Stadium on Sunday. The Zebras' squad for the match does not have foreign-based players as the match falls outside the FIFA calendar.

It will be the first time Botswana and Iran meet. Kick off is at 3pm.

Of the 23 players in the squad, seven are from the Under-23 team that missed qualification for the 2008 Beijing Olympics by a whisker. There have been calls for a significant number of the juniors to be included in the team. Zebras' coach, Stanley Tshosane has responded by including Dirang Moloi, Kemmy Pilato, Moreetsi Mosimanyana, Moemedi Moatlhaping, Noah Maposa, Mosimanegape Ramohibidu and Musa Ohilwe in the squad.
