The team is currently languishing at the bottom of the Premier League table, having collected only eight points from 19 games in their debut season. Letlapeng have entered into an open-ended agreement with Moyo, which will be reviewed at the end of the season. The coach’s mandate is to help the team survive the axe before he can be given a permanent deal. Moyo arrives following the departure of seasoned coach, Daniel Nare who quit last week.
“He is confident that this squad is capable of surviving the relegation. He has been aware of what was happening at the team including the fitness level of our players because he has been watching our games,” club chairperson, Sidney Magagane told Mmegi Sport yesterday.
The BDP as a party known to have ample resources has always held its primaries well in time, but this time around that was not the case.
