Letlapeng confident of reaching Coke semis

Letlapeng have warned Naughty Boys not to expect an easy game when they meet in the Coca-Cola Cup quarter-final clash at the National Stadium on Sunday.

The newly-promoted First Division South side has had a good run of form and are confident of registering a win against Naughty Boys who have just made a return to the Premier League. Kick off is at midday. "We are aiming to complete the job within 90 minutes and if we go to the penalties, then we know we have failed. But that does not mean we will go into the shootout without hope. It is only that our plan is to finish them early in the game," Letlapeng manager Buttler Sello told Mmegi Sport. Letlapeng beat Killer Giants and Monarch FC of Francistown enroute to the last eight while Naughty Boys has never had an easy draw since they started their campaign. They had to overcome two Premier League sides Nico United and Boteti Young Fighters to book a date with tricky Letlapeng.

Sello admitted that a 'little bit of luck' has contributed to their success so far in the lucrative competition. However, he said that his charges have worked hard since they gained promotion from Division Two last month and they are improving with every game. "We represent the whole of Ramotswa now that we are the only team from the village left in the competition and I can confidently promise Balete that we will make them proud come Sunday. I do not think Naughty Boys got promoted by default. They have also done well to reach this stage but we are ready for the challenge. We have a committed squad which is capable of competing with Premier League teams," Sello said.
