Lekan outlines progress ahead of BRU AGM

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) president, Bob Lekan is assured of a fresh term as the union goes for an elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Gaborone this weekend.

Lekan is unopposed.
He boasted that his committee has established a good working relationship with the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC), the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC), the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) as well as the International Rugby Board (IRB). 

He also revealed that they successfully reviewed the BRU constitution and strategic plans. He added that implementation has not been completed due to manpower constraints.
