Lady luck smiled on Mochudi Centre Chiefs when they overcame an impressive Extension Gunners 5-4 in a nerve-wracking Coca-Cola Cup post-match penalty shoot-out on Sunday at the National Stadium.

Both sides were locked 1-1 after 90 minutes and penalties had to decide the winner of a game played in an electrifying atmosphere. The duel had all the ingredients of a cup game and supporters went home satisfied with what they got. The game was full of drama and it came as no surprise when one of the Chiefs' officials collapsed after Derrick Ntumbayi missed his spot-kick. Real passion and real flair, the slogan used by Coca-Cola to market their games was in abundance.

Credit has to go to Gunners' coach, Daniel 'Chicco' Nare who came into the game with a plan and frustrated the star-studded Chiefs to the end. Gunners proved on Sunday that Chiefs are beatable. After the game, even Chiefs' supporters conceded that luck was on their side.
