Kutlwano, Mafolofolo in top-of-the-table clash

A tough battle looms tomorrow when Kutlwano and Mafolofolo men's sides meet in a top-of-the-table Mascom Volleyball League clash at the SSKB Courts.

After a poor campaign in the last season, few gave Mafolofolo a chance this season. However, they have recovered sufficiently and look set to give a run for their money. Currently, Mafolofolo trail leaders, Kutlwano, in the standings on sets difference and tomorrow's match is bound to be a crucial test of strength for each side. Both sides are tied on 18 points after winning their six matches to date. Mafolofolo are second due to the high number of sets (6) compared to Kutlwano's one. Kutlwano captain, Shadrack Kapeko, said they know that it is going to be tough tomorrow.

"We know that when they meet us, they tend to play their best game," he said. Kapeko conceded that Mafolofolo is a better team this season despite retaining the bulk of the underperforming squad in the last campaign.
