Kutlwano, which is one of the strongest sides in Botswana, showed no mercy for their opponents. The likes of Peaceful Seleka, Thatayaone Serema and Phemelo Ntlhayakgosi were outstanding for Kutlwano. Serema and Ntlhayakgosi left a lasting impression on their debut after being recruited from Prisons VI and Desert Kings respectively.
The Jwaneng side looked out of sorts in the opening set and their technique left a lot to be desired. Things were not helped by the fact that their setting was poor. Kutlwano won the first and second set 25-10 and 25-16. But it was a different ball game in the third set where Itekeng gave a good account of themselves before narrowly falling 25-22. Kutlwano won the set due to experience.
