Killer Giants show Mmesi the door

Killer Giants are hunting for a new coach after they failed to renew the contract of Enos Mmesi, the man who helped them qualify for the Premier League for the first time. It is understood the club has released Mmesi because he lacks the experience to guide the players in the Premier League.

The dismissal has not gone down well with the coach who said he is not happy about the turn of events. He said he received an e-mail from the club while attending a coaching course at Lekidi Football Centre informing him about the decision to release him.   "They should have had the decency to tell me in my face that my services are no longer required. I do not understand the issue of my lack of experience because I am the one who helped the team to qualify for the Premier League after the so called experienced coaches failed for four seasons. But that is how life is and I am now looking for a Premier League team to coach because I believe I am capable," he said.

He suspected that something was wrong after management became reluctant to respond to his request to start early preparations for the league. "They would just tell me that they would get back to me when I asked about when the preparations would start. But they should have just told me then because they knew they no longer needed me," he said.
