Khubamang hails boxer's performance

Phelane lost the flyweight bout after a split decision last Friday. But his coach Khubamang said that despite the loss, he gave a good account of himself.

He said the fight gave the spectators their money's worth. Khubamang added that Phelane started slowly but came back strongly in the last two rounds. "He fought well in the last two rounds but it was too late," he said. He added that Phelane was a bit nervous perhaps because of the crowd that supported his opponent.
