Kapeko stokes flames ahead of Diphatsa clash

Shadrack Kapeko has stoked some flames ahead of their showdown against Diphatsa Volleyball Club men at the BDF Area S courts in Francistown, saying Kutlwano will teach the soldier-dominated side a free volleyball lesson.

Kutlwano and Diphatsa clash in the Mascom Volleyball League and the game has got the potential of exploding into a thrilling encounter, as both sides are determined to maintain their respective positions at the apex of the log table.  Kapeko, the Kutlwano captain, said his side has played Diphatsa and beat them on a number of occasions, but still the Francistown based is reluctant to admit that the Gaborone outfit is miles above them. He said that his team would not be intimidated by their weekend opponents because "they are still to learn a lot in terms of volleyball tactics and the aspects of winning against the tried and tested."   "Diphatsa will be treated just like an ordinary side. We have beaten them on several occasions before, but they are still to admit that we are a better side over them," said Kapeko.

He said Diphatsa should play their normal volleyball and refrain from putting themselves under unnecessary pressure. "In fact, they will be fighting a lost battle. Although it will not be easy to win against a team wishing to win at all cost, the confidence in the camp is top class. We will teach them a volleyball lesson," he said.
