The annual Kakapa Media Cup will be played at the National Stadium in Gaborone tomorrow. Already, the tournament has set tongues wagging with the four sides promising to produce first class football.

The main attraction of the day will be at 9.30am when the Mmegi takes on bitter rivals, Botswana Television (Btv). Mmegi team lost to Btv during the 2005 finals played at the UB Stadium. This year, Mmegi has vowed that they will make Btv pay dearly. Mmegi vice-captain Kabelo 'Fox' Europa said that Kakapa played well in their last game in Mochudi on Sunday. "I have no doubt that we will beat Btv and the final will be a walkover whoever wins in the second semi-final is not a problem to us," he said. Tomorrow, Mmegi will welcome back three of their prodigal sons - captain Kagiso 'Masondo' Sekokonyane, Meshack Tamocha and first-choice goalkeeper Tshepo Molwane. The trio missed their 7-4 win in Mochudi on Sunday. Molwane is expected to pass a late fitness test after he suffered an injury on the shin a fortnight ago. If he does not recover in time, Mompati 'Pex' Keitumetse will hold fort in Mmegi's bid to lift the cup for the first time.

Upfront, the burden of scoring goals for Mmegi will lie on the shoulders of Tamocha, Lebonyemang 'Boyo' Temogo and Philly Sesike. At the back, it is expected that the likes of Mogomotsi Moloi, Super Temalo and Modisaotsile 'MD' Ramolege will be protecting their goal.
