The much-awaited draw for the Orange Kabelano Charity Cup was conducted at the Gaborone Sun yesterday. The annual one-day event will take place at the National Stadium this Saturday.

In the opening semi-final at 9am, Gaborone United (GU) will face city rivals Notwane while blood rivals Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Township Rollers will meet in the second game scheduled for 11.30am. When the draw was done, there was tension in the room. GU spokesman Atamelang Thaga warned Notwane that they should not think the Reds are a pushover.

They are going to regret. We have got a surprise in store for them. At the time of going to press, it was not yet clear whether international striker Diphetogo Selolwane will play for his former club GU in the one-day event. The player is currently back at GU after moving to US and then South Africa some years back.
