The Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) will host South Africa's World Cup winning coach, Jake White at a dinner to raise funds for charity next week.

The former Springboks coach is expected to arrive in the country next Friday, a day before the dinner. Former Vultures' coach, Gareth Gilbert said yesterday that tickets to the dinner have all been sold. The tickets were selling at P500 per person or P5,000 for a table of 10. There will be an auction for three signed Springbok jerseys from the World Cup campaign  as well as performances by Robbie Taylor and the amazing Belly Dancers from Johannesburg.

White's most notable achievements as coach include leading the Springboks to victory in the 2007 World Cup and the 2004 Tri Nations Cup. He however left the team immediately after the World Cup victory. Gilbert said that besides the fundraising event, White's visit might help BRU identify weaknesses in local rugby.
