Jaguars, the new threat in the rugby league

They came in as rookies in the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) A Division League last season but shocked everyone when they completed the league in the second position. This season there appears to be no slowing down as Canon Jaguars showed an early statement of intent.

The Gaborone-based club was unstoppable when they demolished Botho Ryders 93-0 last weekend in their first league match. Tomorrow, Jaguars lie in wait for Mochudi rugby club at LKC ground in Block 8. Kick-off is at 4pm.

Jaguars manager, Feddy Mutenheri said their plan is to consistently develop club rugby and indirectly Botswana rugby. He said just like last year, they have set themselves modest objectives.
