Botho Ryders’ coach, Tendai Mujaji has said poor preparations were the cause of a 93-0 humiliation at the hands of Jaguars in the ongoing Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) A Division League on Saturday. It was a one-sided affair with Jaguars dominating right from the start to the end of the match.

“It was a bad game. The preparations were not up to scratch. The players did not come to training and the rain on Tuesday also disrupted our preparations. It showed in the game that the players were disjointed because they did not train together the past week,” Mujaji told Monitor Sport after the match.

He said they will have to put more effort and commitment going forward. He said most of his players have school commitments and cannot be available for all training sessions. “Some are writing exams but I hope after that, things will improve,” he said.
