Libreville, Gabon: Zebras' coach Stanley Tshosane has described the team's performance at the ongoing Orange Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals co-hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon as fair.

The Zebras exited from the competition at which they were marking their debut last week after losing all their group matches. The team put up a sterling performance, going down 1-0 to eventual group winners Ghana in their opening match of Group D. This was however, followed by a heavy 6-1 loss to Guinea.

The Zebras tried hard in their final match against Mali to leave the competition with a decent result, but went down 2-1 to the West Africans despite having taken the lead in the game with a superb goal.Tshosane said after the team's exit that they gave their best despite not getting any positive results. "We can not say we lost all our matches because we wanted to lose. Every team or coach goes into a game with nothing but a win in mind, but losing is part of the game and we have to appreciate and move forward," he said.
